Vets League Match 3 report & Match 4 reminder

The third match of the Vets League took place at Tilsley Park last week on a very warm Thursday evening. We had a small team taking part in 2000m Walk, 1500m, 200m, Long Jump, Shot, Hammer and Javelin. Well done all who came, it was good to see Dawn Ealey making her track debut in the V60 200m, and Kathryn Leech’s return to the field with a new PB in Javelin! Thanks as always to our officials, Gareth Smith, Bruce Charles, and to Richard Jegou and Phoebe Leech for photos.

Match 4 will take place on the afternoon of Sunday 2nd July at Palmer Park in Reading. Events commence at 13:30 and feature:

Track – 100m (M & W); 800m (M & W); 400m (M & W); 3000m (M & W); 4 x 200m relay (M & W)

Field – Discus (M & W); Shot (W); Javelin (M); Pole Vault (M & W); Triple Jump (M & W)
