The 2023 Track and Field trophies were presented to Martin Smith and Kathryn Leech after the recent nutrition talk.

Diary date: The first meeting of this year’s Vets League is Monday 29th April 18:30-21:00 at Horspath in Oxford. All Vet (35+) athletes are welcome (and encouraged – the more the merrier!) to participate. Events include: 100m, 3000mS/C (m), 400m, 1500m, 4 x 100m on the track and Shot (m) Javelin (w), Hammer, Long Jump, High Jump on the field. Timetable/schedule details will be given to our competitors by email from Kathryn nearer to the date.

We’ll be scheduling a couple of training sessions in April for those interested, and Kathryn’s also looking into which Open events may be of interest to our Seniors – this will give everyone ample opportunity to compete for the silverware on offer and the chance to have your photo taken next year – with our esteemed Chairman!
