Teddy Hall Relays

We love the Teddy Hall relays for the chance to race the young University whippets at Roger Bannister’s legendary Iffley Road Track, followed by jam sandwiches back at St Edmunds Hall. ðŸ™‚

…and they’re off!

The Teddy Hall Relays started in 1960 and featured teams from Oxford and Cambridge. Now organized by Oxford University Cross-Country Club, it includes local runners and athletics clubs as well as University students, and has grown to 500 runners from 128 teams.

Potential glory, or maybe free jam sandwiches, ensured it was popular again with the Harriers, and we entered 5 mixed teams of four runners. Congratulations to all the Harriers that ran, especially the three White Horse teams who made it into the top 10 external (non-oxford university) teams.
