Cirencester XC

It was great to be back at Cirencester, a brilliant, muddy, hilly, XC course for round 2 of the Oxfordshire League. 

A huge thanks to all those that ran and volunteered at Cirencester.   Particular kudos goes to Alan and Neil who organised the event together with Didcot Runners. 

Despite a few injuries together with the need for volunteers and marshals, we still had a healthy turnout and a great team atmosphere.

9 Harriers (or 3 teams of 3) competed in women’s race.  Becky Hodgson finished 4th overall, leading in the ladies ‘A’ team to 2nd position in Division 1.   Amie Frayne led the ‘B’ team in to 8th place (also Division 1)

15 Harriers (or 2 teams of 7) competed for the mens race.  Matthew Jacobs led the ‘A’ team to 7th place (Div 1)
