VETS League Match 1

The first Vets League Match was held at Horspath in Oxford on the evening of Monday 27th April. Our athletes performed well, and several PBs were set, along with some new club records.

Kathryn Leech on her return to throws (post shoulder surgery last year) set a new club W60 field record for Javelin. Not to be out-beaten, Clare Hazell set new club W55 track records in both 100m and 400m, replacing Marion Jones’s times from 1994! Clare’s times were also both PBs.

Dan Clarke on his first outing in Vets League M45 achieved a PB in the 100m, and Paul Wileman M45 set a PB in Shot Put.
