Welcome to White Horse Harriers

Route 9 – Rye Meadow – Thrupp Lake (7.8km, 0m)

This is a shorter version of Route 8. Starting in Abingdon by the bridge over the river (there is a huge car park and toilets nearby) it follows the Thames Path, crossing the weir, to a path junction 400m before the railway bridge. The route then heads northwest on a small path through woods, straight to the Sustrans cycle track and Thrupp Lake. You can do a lap of Thrupp Lake to make the full route or return on the cycle track to the weir and finish where you started. There are lots of options to relax and refuel in Abingdon!
