This is another route starting at Bury Down, which crosses under the A34 and heads for the village of Compton, and visits Blewbury Down as well. It uses footpaths, bridleways and The Ridgeway. It allows for lots of improvisation for distance and ascent. There is plenty of parking but no amenities.
