This is quite an intricate route using footpaths, bridleways and The Ridgeway. It allows for lots of improvisation for distance and ascent. Sadly, the ‘Roman Temple’ no longer exists. The route starts at the end of a long access road, running west from the village of Streatley off the A417. There is limited parking and no amenities (Goring and Streatley have cafés etc).
