Like Route 11 this much shorter one starts in the car park at Bury Down (just off the A34) and takes you on an almost triangular circuit using ancient footpaths, tracks and The Ridgeway. There is one road crossing at the start. There are some stiles or gates. There is plenty of parking but no toilets or refreshments (unless you bring your own).
