Oxfordshire Junior League. July Results

Congratulations to our junior team who competed on Sunday 9th.

A great day at Horspath with our largest team (so far) of 18 athletes who keep improving their performances and it looks like both boys and girls teams came 3rd in the Quad Kids.

The message from coach, Lisa, says it all.

“WOW! What can I say? Except “you knocked it outta the park”! You were ALL amazing. You represented the club with gusto, enthusiasm and enormous determination, you did the club and yourselves proud. A wide smile should be on your faces as you go to sleep tonight.

We certainly didn’t look like the “small club” today, we ROARED!!!!! You were given coaching tips and advice and you put them into practice, which from a coaches perspective is brilliant! White Horse Harriers future is looking brighter.

Parents, you rocked too! Your support for all the athletes was lovely to see, and very appreciated by all. More importantly the time you gave up was fantastic. But as one Mum said “this is a break for me, if I was at home I wouldn’t be sitting down like this!!”

Paul, Nicky and Dominic your help and support was brilliant, days like these can’t run properly without a team behind them. Thank you.

As soon as the results are in I shall let you all know. No doubt PB’s have been set, and broken today.
