Zack Smith competed in the Midlands League at Corby last weekend, as second claim for Abingdon. Zack came 2nd, in an impressive 11.2 seconds, helping Abingdon to the team win. Congratulations Zack!

Ben ran in the Midlands League this weekend, as second claim for Abingdon.  Ben won both the 800m in 1:57 and the 400m in 48.2 Ben also ran in the 4×100 and 4×400 relays, helping Abingdon to overall victory. Congratulations Ben!

Our international jet-setter and Ultra-Harrier, Jan McCabe, completed her second Comrades Marathon on 29th May.  She took 10h 30m 41s, an impressive time, to cover the 89km from Pietermaritzburg to Durban. Ben Claridge was selected to run for GB juniors at the Loughborough international on Sun 22nd May. Ben ran the 400m, where he came 3rd beating the athletes representing both England and Wales. His time was 48.01 an electronically timed PB. Congratulations Ben!
