Starting again in Childrey this route heads west out of the village on a tarmac road before using trails to wiggle through Sparsholt and Kingston Lisle (a bit more tarmac) before making the long and lovely climb up onto the Ridgeway. It follows this wonderful national trail southeast and then descends through Sparsholt Field to Westcot, Sparsholt and finally ends up back in Childrey. Don’t forget to rest and relax in the village’s lovely cafes!
